For Mariposa the Yoga is a fundamental part of his life, since She grew up in a family of Yogis where She began her practice at a very early age “15 years” and, until today, is part of his daily life.
What is Yoga? More than an exercise, a deep connection with yourself
Yoga is a millenary discipline that comes from India originated more than 5,000 years ago, which encompasses a whole philosophy of life whose purpose is to achieve a state of peace, liberation and unique happiness.
This healthy lifestyle, cares and strengthens our body, mind and spirit through the practice of asanas, breathwork and meditation.
In our yoga sessions we practice different types of asanas or harmonized postures by breathwork, beneficial for both our body and our mind.
With the help of Yoga we can begin to live in a state of presence, HERE AND NOW, finding that ideal balance between your body, mind and spirit.
To achieve such a feat, there are many techniques that will help us, how are the types of yoga in which thanks to the right combination of asanas (postures), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, mantras and many others, we will correct the balance of our body with the mind.
It should be noted, that in the West the best known yoga is that of postures (asanas), but the reality is another totally different; this is because yoga encompasses a deep philosophy, in which asanas are a small part but of great importance.
Through all these postures we can preach our body and keep it strong, flexible and balanced. We can say that it is the vehicle that connects us physically with the soul and are linked to our breathwork (pranayama).
